Pledged to the Singapore Environment Council’s School Green Awards

Keppel Care Foundation, set up in 2012 to coordinate the Keppel Group’s community contributions, has pledged S$270,000 over three years (2023 to 2025) to the Singapore Environment Council in support of its annual School Green Awards — a nationwide outreach programme encouraging students and teachers to advocate for the environment.

The pledge sits within the foundation’s three stated focus areas: protecting the environment, promoting education, arts and culture, and caring for the underprivileged. Separately, Keppel has also put S$500,000 toward the Singapore University of Technology and Design to support its sustainability-focused research and education work.

Keppel’s core businesses span energy, infrastructure and asset management, giving its environmental education spending a closer link to its operating footprint than is typical of philanthropic giving in other industries — the company frames climate and sustainability literacy among students as adjacent to its own transition toward becoming what it calls a global asset manager and operator for sustainable solutions.
